Aidan is an award-winning singer-songwriter, professional performer, recording artist and experienced music educator known for creating a warm, encouraging space where students can develop real musical skills without losing the joy, play, and creativity that drew them to music in the first place.

Her lessons can focus on voice, guitar, ukulele, songwriting—or a personalized combination of all four. Complete beginners are welcome, as are experienced musicians looking to reconnect with their creativity, strengthen their skills, or find a more authentic musical voice.

At the heart of Aidan’s teaching is the same philosophy that inspired the former Aidan Mayes School of Music - the acronym: N-I-C-E.

Classically trained and accredited through the Royal Conservatory of Music, Aidan brings decades of experience as a professional musician and music educator to every lesson—but her approach is anything but stuffy. She believes music should feel human, expressive, confidence-building, uniquely catered to YOU and the most important part: FUN!!!

Lessons take place one-on-one over Zoom and are recorded, giving you a personalized practice tool you can return to throughout the week. Scheduling is flexible through Calendly, making it easy to choose—and move—your lesson times around real life.
